Coming by train? It's only a 5 minute walk from the train station to The ASH. Coming by car? Park your car in one of the Park & Ride parkings outside the city and take the tram to our hostel. It stops right in front of us.

We were the first in Belgium to have a fully online check-in process with Flexipass. You can also check-in at our self check-in kiosk or pass by the reception.

Want to cook your own diner? We have a fully equipped kitchen you can use. Want to study or do some work? We have a quiet library where you can sit. Want to play some games? We have a communal chill area.

Amazing stay at The Ash Antwerp!
I had a wonderful experience at this property. The receptionist was absolutely lovely and took all my personal preferences into account. She surprised me with the best room in the entire building: room 802! It offers a great view of the highly convenient tram stop right outside, which is logistically perfect for exploring Antwerp. Exceptional service that truly made my stay special. Highly recommended!

This was an unforgettable experience! A huge thank you to Karel and his team for their help; I felt very uncomfortable around someone near my room, but when I returned to the front desk, they immediately moved me to a room where I felt much safer. Thank you so much! I will definitely be back! See you next time!

The location was excellent! Very close to the city center and public transportation, especially the central train station. The rooms were spacious and relatively clean; the towels and bed sheets were clean and fresh too. The staff was also very helpful and kind throughout our stay. The process of checking in and out was very easy. The elevator needs to be operated with the room card. It's a bit wonky but does operate well.
The breakfast in the morning was very convenient and genuinely good quality. You could choose between a full breakfast for €10 or a coffee with a pastry for €5, which was a nice option to have.
Overall, it was a decent and comfortable stay. I would recommend this hotel, particularly for its convenient location, easy access to public transport, and simplicity.
The bathroom was unfortunately the main downside of the stay. The sink was quite slow to drain, and if you're on the shorter side like I am, you may have some difficulty comfortably reaching the smaller faucet.
The toilet itself was clean, although there was an unpleasant smell coming from it during the evening/ at night. We also decided not to use the shower after noticing some spots, and both the showerhead and shower curtain could have been cleaner.
Another minor inconvenience was that there was only one small trash bin in the entire room, with no separate one in the bathroom. Of course, we could have moved the bin into the bathroom when needed, but having so few places to dispose of trash was not very practical.
Overall, the bathroom was a bit disappointing, especially compared to the clean and spacious room.

Super friendly staff, helping with all the questions. Location is very good as well in the city center. Within 10 minutes at the big square and all the tourist attractions.

Chris and staff run a great place for a cheaper stay in Antwerp. I used 6bed, private and 3bed rooms over a week while doing a 1000k udax around Belgium. Bike storage and luggage store helped a lot with logistics, kitchen helps save on restaurant costs and they threw the TV on for TdFF.

The beds could use upgrading. Not the mattresses, but the frames themselves could be more comfortable to climb on if you have the top bunk and my bed was very unstable and shook very hard. I told the receptionist in the morning and she immediately apologized, thanked me for telling them and said they would have someone take care of that. Aside from that, the rooms and showers were very clean.

Overall, a really good stay! It's a bit pricey for what it offers, but honestly, it’s everything you expect from a solid hostel.

You can’t go wrong with The Ash. It’s got all the basics you need and super friendly staff on top. The dorm rooms have basic bunkbeds and small locks for your valuables, breakfast is offered in a small version (coffee and sweet treat) or big version (small Buffett all you can eat), it’s got a relaxing mini garden to hang out and both a working space and kitchen. It’s about 500 meters from the inner city or the centraal station. Good stay!

Exceptional stay for Tomorrowland—Chris is an absolute legend!
I’ve traveled to more than 25 countries and met countless hotel and hostel staff, but Chris at The ASH is hands down the best I have ever come across! He is incredibly welcoming, genuinely helpful, and made the entire stay unforgettable. The hostel itself is the perfect base if you are visiting Antwerp or heading out to Tomorrowland. Great vibes, great location, and world-class hospitality. Highly recommended!

Great hostel, especially if you're on a budget.
Located very central yet it was quite quiet, staff was very nice and I had a great breakfast.
What was also very nice is that the room had a shower, which even went to a pretty high pressure.
The only nit-pick would be that there was no air conditioning, but that was clear beforehand and would not be a problem at all outside of the summer.

Best hostel I have visited worldwide! Especially the service was 5/5 , very accommodating,friendly, and eager to help with any issue you might have! Lovely lovely vibes as well!!! Would definitely recommend

Great Hostel, Great Location, amazing staff.
The girls and Chris made me feel very welcome.
The kitchen was spacious, lots of space for dining and relaxing. They have a bar with great belgium beer option.
From the check in till the end I felt like I was part of their friend group rather than a guest, big thanks to Lex, Miryam and Maria.

The room was not great. There was no ac and the window barely opened. The drains were all clogged. However the staff was so nice especially the night manager. This guy was so nice, helpful and so genuine. The hospitality was great and it’s placed perfectly in the city.

We enjoyed a 3-night stay at The ASH, during which we had 145 boys attending a football tour. We had a great experience throughout. The rooms and food were good and the service was fantastic, with support available 24/7 whenever needed.

Wonderful bar, friendly staff, especially Chris the manager. I was able to get a private room for 50 Euros. Very close to the train station, I recommend booking here!

We came here after the Neighborhood concert. It was almost midnight but we were able to check in pretty fast. Rest of the night Guy kept us company downstairs since we didn’t want to go to bed and we had a lovely night chatting about a lot of different things. He is awesome, kind and fun. It made our entire night!

The rooms were very clean.
The location of the Hotel is perfect (close to the Centraal Station and right next to the bus station Roosveltplats).
